This experiential session, using live supervision dialogue, will provide participants the opportunity to give and receive coaching supervision and to experience, through a reflective dialogue, how to view their work through three lenses—Self, Other, and System—using a new supervision model, The Tri-Lens Coaching Supervision Model™. This reflective (versus reactive) way a coach can view their coaching experiences non-judgmentally is critical for supervision conversations that are either directly focused on a diversity & inclusion coach/client topic, or in which the supervision dialogue has a meaningful connection to coaching work where difference needs to be surfaced for examination. Executive and organisational coaches working with leaders, teams, and groups are immersed in complex, evolving organisational systems, which are diverse and inclusive in varying degrees. To better understand this broad and complex topic of diversity & inclusion, coaches, and their clients, need ways to reflect and learn through their experiences with difference. A coach’s ability to show up confident, competent, creative, and compassionate for their clients when approaching coaching situations, that include diversity & inclusion themes, depends on the coach’s continuous growth, development and capacity to review and reflect on their work.

Bio

Ken Giglio is a highly experienced executive coach, consultant, and coach supervisor focused on ‘mindful leadership’, the courage to confront and shift the self-limiting mindsets and behaviours that undermine personal, team, and organisational effectiveness. As Principal, he leads a global team of highly experienced executive coaches and supervisors that link leadership to an organisation’s strategic business objectives.

Karyn Prentice is a seasoned coach and coach supervisor who enables leaders and individuals to be the best they can in their professional lives. She is a senior faculty member at Coaching Supervision Academy, where she teaches an accredited EMCC Diploma in Coaching Supervision in both French and English in Europe, the USA, and in London.  Sam is an accredited EMCC supervisor.
