Bio

Dr Mary Hartog is the EMCC Global WorkGroup leader for Team Coaching and the Director of Leadership and Organisation Practice at Middlesex University Business School (UK), where she has taught for over 30 years.  Mary works with organisations to develop their talent, leadership, and enhance business growth, through bespoke practice based qualifications, using Action Learning and Coaching as key development tools.  Mary is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development, a Principal and National Teaching Fellow, and the Director of the Devolved Chartered Manager Centre at Middlesex (UK).  Her research and writing is concerned with reflective practices and the use of the self, using First Person Action Inquiry in the service of personal and  professional development.  She is a supervisor for the Professional Doctorate and DBA programmes at Middlesex (UK).  Currently, Mary is also joint lead for an MBA and Masters in Leadership and Management (Social Work).  She was awarded her PhD in 2004 from the Centre For Action Research in Professional Practice, at Bath University (UK). She has a Masters in Management Learning, a Post Graduate Diploma in Personnel Management, and a first degree in Social Science (Psychology). Mary joined the first cohort of the Ashridge Team Coaching programme in 2015. She contributed a chapter, ‘Becoming a team coach’ to the Practitioner’s Handbook of Team Coaching, (Eds) Clutterbuck et al, (2019), Routledge.  Recently, she completed a course with the Tavistock, ‘Leadership and Management in the Public and Voluntary Sectors: a systemic perspective’, in order to strengthen her work with leaders and teams in social work and social care.

Dr Julie Haddock-Millar is an Associate Professor of HRM at Middlesex University Business School (UK), Visiting Professor at the International University of Monaco, EMCC UK Executive Board joint Professional Development Director, and EMCC Global WorkGroup leader for the International Standards in Mentoring and Coaching Programmes (ISMCP) for EMCC. She is EMCC accredited at Senior Practitioner level.

Dr Chandana Sanyal is a Senior Lecturer of Human Resource Management and Development at Middlesex University Business School (UK), a Fellow Member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development and Higher Education Academy. Chandana is a coach-mentor and holds an Advanced Certificate in Coaching and Mentoring from CIPD. She is a EMCC UK Executive Board joint Professional Development Director and EMCC Global WorkGroup leader for European Individual Accreditation (EIA).  She is EMCC accredited at Practitioner level.
